They were also able to detain Taylor Wardlaw in connection with his disappearance. According to officials, Eddie Brown (30), has been arrested as a suspect in the death. Sims 26 was last seen Dec. 20 on Ervin Street in Columbia. His partner, Wardlaw, reported him missing on Dec. 22, according to the police. On Wednesday, a corpse was discovered on Monticello Road. Naida Rutherford who is the county coroner in Richland confirmed that it was the property of Sims. Skip Holbrook of Columbia Police reports that Wardlaw has been charged with murder of Sims as well as possessing firearms during an violent offense. Sims was killed by multiple gunshot wounds, according to the police. The Columbia Police Department released the next tweet in response to the community's request for help.
