Sharon Yvonne Stone, born 10 March 1958 at Meadville (Pennsylvania), is born to Dorothy Lawson, a former worker at a factory, and Joseph William Stone, a maker of tools and dies. Stone has three brothers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was considered to be exceptionally gifted in her academics when she entered the second grades at five. Saegertown Senior High School, Saegertown Pennsylvania is where she received her diploma in the year 1975. She also competed and was crowned the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone and her aunt moved out of New Jersey to New Jersey in order to pursue a career as a model in 1977. They joined an agency called the Ford Modeling Agency after a couple of months. The next step was Europe where she spent one year residing in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was however dissatisfied in Europe in the modeling business and decided to move to acting. Woody Allen's movie, "Stardust Memories", received mixed reviews at the age of 20.
