Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd went on an impressive 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent right in the first round. Following that, she travelled to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen by unanimous decision. The loss put a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16 saw her rise up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock out McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at an "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to put on the weight. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She remained dominant and picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd finished Evinger during the first round, and was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Her first major fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd won the night's fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in hard in a tense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds and ended the streak of winning. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round of UFC in ESPN 7. In her place she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
